Rapids crash Cambridge
The Niagara peewee BB Rapids girls hockey team claimed their third tournament gold medal this year by defeating Grand River 1-0 in the championship game of the Cambridge Roadrunners New Year’s Challenge Cup. The squad is made up of Cassandra Kuehnen, Kadra Corney, Mya Capes, Katie Miller, Rylie Wake, Nicole Kocsis, Isabella Antonucci, Kylee Mahoney, Emma Penner, Avery Penner, Rachel Wing, Reese Capitano, Maia MacLean, Paige Donald, Nicole Tanasi, Bailey Mulholland, and Mackenzie Tomins. Coaching Staff: Marc Antonucci, Gerry Penner, Mike Donald, Chris Corney, Jon White and trainer Melissa Capitano.
