A Bronze Finish for Midget BB Rapids at Fall Classic!
The Midget BB Rapids had a fantastic weekend competing in the 16-team Midget BB Division of the Fall Classic in Niagara Falls. The team started the tournament slow with a tie and a loss but the girls rallied and came back with a 2-1 win over Mississauga, followed by a 2-1 win over Hamilton and finally a 2-1 win over Orillia to win the bronze medal game on Sunday. The girls should be extremely proud because their pool contained finalists for the gold and silver games of the tournament. Lead by outstanding goaltender Kendall Caperchione and the phenomenal heart displayed by the entire team this weekend, it promises to be an exciting season for the girls, coaching staff, parents and fans! Keep up the great work Midget BB!
