RAPIDS CAPTURE SILVER AT FALL CLASSIC
The Midget A Rapids captured
silver at the Fall Classic in Niagara Falls. The team went 3-0-1 in round robin
play defeating Mississauga 2-0, Barrie 1-0, Whitby 4-0, and tieing Etobicoke,
1-1 to advance to the final. The girls were eventually defeated 1-0 by Barrie
in the championship game. Led by goaltender Kaydra Corney, the team played an
excellent defensive system all five games. The team would like to
recognize all of our fans who supported us this weekend. Congrats Rapids!
