MIDGET BB TEAM - Midget BB win Silver at Peterborough
Submitted By Gail Mulholland on Wednesday, December 06, 2017
Congratulations to the Midget BB Rapids for finishing in second place at the Peterborough Ice Kats tournament this past weekend. During round robin play the Rapids beat Peterborough 3-0 and lost 2-1 to both West Northumberland and Sudbury. Advancing to the quarter finals the team faced Windsor and won in a shoot out 2-1. Sunday brought a semi-final 2-1 win against Casenovia from Buffalo. The Rapids faced Hamilton in the finals where they fell 3-1. This was a total team effort and everyone contributed to the success of the weekend with 12 players registering points and Kendall playing all 6 games. Well done ladies!
